Delanie Kelly: A Rising Star for Arizona State Gymnastics
Arizona State gymnast Delanie Kelly made an impressive transition to collegiate gymnastics during her freshman season in 2026, quickly establishing herself as an important member of the Sun Devils. The Lake Forest, Illinois native arrived in Tempe after an accomplished career with Legacy Elite Gymnastics, where she was a four-time national qualifier.
Kelly competed regularly on floor and vault throughout her debut season while also earning opportunities on bars and beam. Her consistency and improvement were particularly noticeable on floor, where she recorded scores of 9.800 or higher in all but three meets. She reached a career-best 9.900 at the Big 12 Championship, one of the standout performances of her freshman campaign.
She also enjoyed success on bars, earning her first collegiate event title on Senior Day with a career-high 9.850.
Beyond her performances in the arena, Kelly has demonstrated a strong commitment to academics, earning both Big 12 Academic All-Rookie Team honors and WCGA Scholastic All-American recognition.
With a successful freshman season behind her, Kelly looks like an exciting gymnast to watch as she continues developing her skills and becoming an even bigger part of the Sun Devil Gym Devils program.
