Elena Makenzie Arenas (born August 31, 2001) is a former LSU Tigers standout in women’s collegiate gymnastics.
Hailing from Milledgeville, Georgia, she enrolled at LSU, where she quickly became a cornerstone of the Tigers’ lineup. Known for her exceptional vault—earning a 9.950 at the 2021 SEC Championships—and standout routines across bars, beam, and floor, she was celebrated as “totally amazing” by LSU.
By the conclusion of her senior year in 2023, a lingering back injury prompted her to retire, but not before she left a lasting legacy both on and off the mat.
