Rylee Miller: A Rising Star for Southern Utah Gymnastics
Rylee Miller has quickly established herself as an important member of the Southern Utah University gymnastics team. Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, Miller brought an impressive competitive background to the Thunderbirds, having represented Canada at the national level and competed at eight Canadian Nationals.
After sitting out her freshman season in 2024, Miller made her mark in 2025, particularly on balance beam. She recorded a season average of 9.763 and an impressive National Qualifying Score of 9.85. Her consistency under pressure also helped Southern Utah during the postseason, earning her a place on the 2025 All-MPSF First Team for beam.
Miller took another step forward in 2026. During a March meet against Utah State, she produced career-best scores of 9.875 on uneven bars and 9.900 on beam. She continued that strong form at the MPSF Championships, helping Southern Utah win the conference title. Miller tied for first on floor with a score of 9.875, sharing the championship with three of her Thunderbird teammates.
Her 2026 season demonstrated just how valuable Miller has become to Southern Utah. She finished the MPSF season ranked third on beam and eighth on floor, while also developing into a scoring option on bars.
With her international experience, consistency and ability to perform when it matters most, Rylee Miller is certainly a gymnast to watch as Southern Utah continues to compete at the highest level of collegiate gymnastics.
